The City of Crystal Falls has been working hard toward the use of advanced technology to
better serve its utility customers. The implementation of this technology allows for a more
accurate billing and alerts the staff when something is wrong.
The public works department has been installing this new technology to assist in the reading
and monitoring of the use of water in the City of Crystal Falls. This new sensor will send the
water meter readings directly to the desk of the utility billing clerk and can also assist in
alerting the city staff in the event of a water leak in your home.
The installation of the new sensors is expected to take some time to complete, depending on
the cooperation of the customers.
Because the installation of this new sensor requires city employees to enter your home, we
are asking that you contact us so we can set up an appointment for the month of June unless
you have already done so.
