What is a “Neternship”?
InterNet2 + Internship = Neternship
A virtual internship Students across campuses collaborate with
an Internet2 representative on an advanced network project
Why did we decide to get involved?

The Task

Project organizer is on the other side of the country.
How can we gather our project requirements? How can we get help quickly from experts
from all over the country?
The Solutions:
Email List of fellow neterns and Internet2 members, allowed us to quickly obtain feedback from a diverse audience
Project Website Phone & Video Conference
Video Conferencing
Interact and talk as though everyone is at the same table
Clear enough to show examples and pictures up on the screen
Problem 2: TCP, BDP, HPN… what?
