How will I know if the ISU Athletics Ticket Office has filled my request for tickets? In the event the ISU Athletics Ticket Office is able to fill your request, you will be notified via email and provided with Will Call instructions at that time.

How are NCAA Tournament tickets assigned?Postseason site locations are determined by the NCAA.If the Redbirds are selected to participate in the NCAA

Tournament, the ISU Athletics Ticket Office will receive a limited number of tickets. Priority to request NCAA tickets will be based on the following order:

1. ISU WSF donors2. ISU season ticket holders who are not WSF donors3. Illinois State alumni4. General Public

Due to limited time available to assign requests, the ISU Athletics Ticket Office will automatically charge the card on the enclosed form. Those account holders will receive a confirmation email when the order is filled.

Due to extreme limitations on ticket allotments for the NCAA Tournament, we do not anticipate having any available to any level other than WSF donors and men’s basketball season ticket holders for the first, second and third rounds.

Where can I purchase tickets if I do not fit in any of the above criteria? If you are not a WSF Donor, current season ticket holder or ISU alum, your best option is to purchase tickets directly through the NCAA host site.

How many NCAA tickets can I request? You may request up to four tickets for any round of the NCAA Tournament.

Do I need to purchase a ticket for my child for the NCAA Tournament?Yes, all patrons regardless of age require a ticket.

**Additional information regarding NIT Madison Square Garden tickets will be communicated at a later date*** There will be a $20 handling fee for all NCAA Tournament

How do I request tickets for the FCS Championship game?

Season ticket holders can request championship game tickets on the football post-season request form. Please note: tickets are not guaranteed. If we cannot secure tickets in your preferred seating area, you will be given tickets in the next available location and refunded the difference.

There is no limit to the number of tickets you can request for the FCS Championship. However, only eight tickets will be seated at a priority level. For example, if you have requested 12 tickets for the game, eight will be seated according to your WSF priority and the other four will be allocated in a non-priority area. Please note: non-priority seats are still allocated by WSF priority points and ranking.

If the Redbirds advance and we are able to fill your request, your credit card will automatically be charged for the number of tickets you requested. If the Redbirds do not qualify, you will not receive tickets as the ISU Athletics Ticket Office will not have access to tickets.

Tickets range from $65-$75.Seating is determined by current WSF priority points.

Is there an alternative method to purchasing FCS Championship Tickets?Yes, tickets are available through the NCAA website. Note: these may not be located in sections sold by Illinois State.

Do I need to purchase a ticket for my child for the FCS Championship game?Yes, all patrons regardless of age require a ticket.

How and when will I receive my tickets for the FCS Championship game?Championship game tickets will be shipped to the address on file either by priority mail or overnight delivery. The ISU Athletics Ticket Office will verify the address by email prior to shipping. We can ship tickets to another address; however, any address changes must be made in writing by responding to the verification email. Individuals may choose to have their tickets left at Will Call. Will Call can be picked up prior to the game at our Redbird Arena ticket office or at the Toyota Stadium Team box office.

** There will be a $20 handling fee for all FCS Championship game orders

postseasonticket information

Please comply with the following rules to request postseason tickets.

Only credit card payments will be accepted. All other forms of payment will be returned and the form will not be processed.

Payments are processed only after hosting is secured. Incomplete forms will not be processed.

Postseason seat locations will be assigned by current WSF priority points. Tickets cannot be guaranteed. Postseason seating for home games will be based on your current season ticket location.

Tickets are available as long as the Redbirds are playing in the postseason. Should the Redbirds not advance, the ISU Athletics Ticket Office will not have access to tickets for the following rounds.

Once you return the order form, no other action is required. You will be notified if we are unable to fulfill your ticket request.

volleyball and olympic sportsIf Illinois State were to host a NCAA postseason event for volleyball or any of our Olympic Sports, tickets would go on sale the day after hosting is secured. Pricing will be determined based on the sport and by the NCAA. To secure tickets for all NCAA postseason events not hosted at ISU, fans will need to go through the hosting school ticket office.

Help Us Serve YouDuring football and basketball postseasons, the ISU Athletics Ticket Office has a very short window of time to process, organize and successfully allocate tickets. Due to WSF membership growth and the team success, we expect to have a higher volume of ticket requests. Therefore, we do not expect to have the ability to solve as many last minute ticketing requests as we have been able to do in the past.

Release of ResponsibilityIllinois State University and the Redbird Athletics Department are not responsible for any travel, hotel or expenses incurred by customers in anticipation of receipt of tickets for any of the games of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament or NCAA FCS Football Playoffs.

Additional Questions?Call the ISU Athletics Ticket Office at (309) 438-8000.
