with the astounding statistic that 58% of respondents were agreeable to the sale of Dolphin

This date I have received information that Our Parks and Reserves are still in danger o f being sold. I wonder i f the original land holder who gave the land to the Council for Public Parks and Reserves, to be used by the Taree Community could eventually be sold by the council. I am sure that was not the Original Land Holders idea.

In the event of any o f the areas being sold by the council. I hope (Heaven Forbid) that a child or any person forced to play or have an activity on the roadway by the closing down o f these Public Parks and Reserves are killed or badly injured. Can maker some claim to the Council for compensation as the general community have the right to used these Public Parks and Reserves without Council interference

Perhaps the council have overlooked the fact that the sold land will in some cases be sold or occupied by elderly persons. BUT many will be occupied by young families with both younger children and teenagers who will need our existing Public Parks and Reserves so they can hold activities in a safe environment away from Motor Vehicles and constant danger by have being forced onto Publix Roads.

Sale o f any Public Park or Reserve by the Council is NOT NEGOTIABLE.
