The way towards a friendlier society, bridged by robots
Welcome
Features of the International Robot Exhibition
The International Robot Exhibition was first held in 1974, and it has since been held once every two years, marking its 23rd exhibition this year. The previous exhibition, held in 2017, saw participating exhibitors from 612 companies and organizations, with a total of 2775 booths which is the largest number ever. Exhibitors from outside Japan grew to 88 companies and organizations from 14 countries. Total visitor numbers exceeded 130,000 people, and the exhibition continued to capture attention from around the world as one of the largest robot trade shows in the world, with approximately 10,000 overseas visitors from 82 countries.
One of the largest robot trade shows in the world
The newest robot technologies and products from Japan and around the worldThe exhibition will bring together the latest technology and related products from robot manufacturers and robot-related companies in Japan, the “Land of Robotics,” as well as from other countries around the world to promote business talks and opportunities to exchange technology. The exhibition will be a vehicle to tell the world about next-generation robot technology that supports ever-evolving intelligence and information.
In addition to various forums and international symposiums by experts in the robotics industry, exhibitors will hold seminars to introduce their latest products and technology throughout the duration of the exhibition. The exhibition attracts visitors from diverse industries: not only robot-related industries but also manufacturing industry people involved in automobiles, appliances and electronics, as well as people from nursing care and medicine, infrastructure and construction, agriculture, forestry and fishery-related food products, education, and more.
Programming that caters to a wide range of needs
Current robot technology is growing along with AI and ICT, moving from manufacturing sites to closer to home, fast becoming a part of day-to-day life. In Japan, robots are positioned as a priority field as a part of connected industries following the fourth industrial revolution. Robot technology is expected to continue to be more and more utilized in fields such as productivity improvement, nursing care and medicine, agriculture, infrastructure, and more.
The theme for the International Robot Exhibition 2019 is “The way towards a friendlier society, bridged by robots” and it will be held with the goal of working towards a society in which humans and robots can work and live together.
During the exhibition, the newest robots from Japan and around the world, as well as robot-related technologies such as AI, ICT, and underlying technologies will all be exhibited together in one place.
We are looking forward to experiencing your exhibit at the International Robot Exhibition 2019, where robotics professionals and consumers gather from around the globe.
