The Upper Rio Grande Animal Society Conour Animal Shelter isdedicated to providing a safe environment for the shelter and care of

animals in need, and for the prevention of cruelty and abuse of allanimals. It is our pledge to nourish the relationship between

companion animals and humans through education, media exposureand readily available information and assistance.

After spending 2 years in the shelter, with the

help of Relay For Rescue, Drools (renamed

Monte) now has a new family to love him. Kacey

spent 2 weeks living at the shelter with Drools,

promoting the wonderful dog he is on Facebook.

San Luis Valley. We hope to

provide peace and comfort in pet

owner's time of loss.

Join our Team - Volunteer at the Shelter, walking and socializing the dogs,

helping with upkeep, being a part of the Board, or providing your expertise

in marketing, grant writing, etc.
