General cargo
We handle over one million freight tons of general cargo from hundreds of ships per annum. Commodities vary from cars, timber, steel, bagged cargo, frozen goods to project cargo and heavy industrial items. The efficient and expedient handling of cargo is achieved utilizing the latest cargo handling equipment supported by trained and experienced specialists and information systems.
Containerized cargo
The division is responsible for the daily management of one of the Container Terminals at Shuwaikh Port, annually discharging and back loading over 300,000 TEUs of various types of cargo. The top 4 container lines rely on JTC’s outstanding service for their container handling requirements.
Ports ManagementJTC’s Ports Management Division is the leading operator at Shuwaikh Port, the largest commercial port in Kuwait and one of the largest in the Northern Gulf Region.
Synergies through integration
JTC Ports, in conjunction with the other JTC divisions, deliver integrated solutions, making us a preferred service provider for our customers. Through the use of our modern fleet of cranes, material handling equipment, trucks & trailers, coupled with storage facilities and value added services, we offer a complete delivery solution from quay side worldwide to consignees in the Northern Arabian Gulf.

We coordinate the flow of materials, handle restrictions in difficult or remote areas, manage site operations, provide flexible options and stage supply lines to meet exacting deadlines.
JTC provides special services for logistical requirements of Construction and Oil & Gas projects.
Contract LogisticsJTC’s Contract Logistics Division owns and operates a modern fleet of equipment, including flat bed trailers, low beds, tippers and fuel & water tankers. We also offer warehousing solutions in both open and covered facilities.

Equipment LeasingJTC’s Equipment Leasing Division owns and operates an extensive fleet of various capacity cranes and other types of industrial equipment, providing a wide selection of services from daily rental to project management packages tailor- made to cover client requirements.
Our fleet includes state of the art equipment, including major brands such as TEREX / GROVE / TADANO / LIEBHERR.
All our operators are third party tested and certified.
All equipment and lifting tackles are regularly tested for conformance to specifications and compliance within the country of operation supported with recognized third party certifications.
The division also owns and operates a certified fleet of various other types of industrial equipment offered for special utilities, oil and gas, infrastructure, and construction projects. These include: Boom Trucks, Air Compressors, Tower Lights, Forklifts, Water and Vacuum Tankers, Excavators and Wheel Loaders.
We provide power solutions for:
Power Projects: Rapid deployment of multi-mega Watt, low or high voltage configurations for medium to long term hires often in remote or hostile environments.

State of the art equipment: Our fleet consists of JTC designed generators and auxiliary equipment built based on the highest engineering and environmental standards, especially suitable for high ambient temperatures. Our containerized/canopied generators are available in compact configurations and operate with ultra low noise levels.
