OUR BIGGEST YEAR—EVERAAC membership grew by 28% in 2012 alone, reflecting the positive impact of our new programs.

GOLDEN PITON AWARDClimbing Magazine awarded its highest Climbing Magazine awarded its highest honor to the AAC for our work as a Community Developer.

SAVED HUECO ROCK RANCHPurchased, renovated, and reopened the iconic Ranch to ensure climber-friendly lodging in Hueco Tanks, Texas.

OPENED NEW RIVER GORGE OPENED NEW RIVER GORGE CAMPGROUNDClimbers can camp within walking distance of popular crags thanks to this new AAC-owned campground in West Virginia.

LAUNCHED LIVE YOUR DREAM GRANTSThis new grant ($16,000) funded 41 dreams, giving every-day adventurers opportunities to gain skills and confidence.

FUNDED 7 CORNERSTONE GRANTS$25,000 will make huge improvements to $25,000 will make huge improvements to crags in Utah, Kentucky, Washington, New York, New Hampshire, and Colorado.
