AAU OVERVIEWAl Ain University of Science and Technology is a licensed university; where all programs are accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation of the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates. The University has two major campuses. One is located in Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the UAE, and another in Al Ain, also known as the Garden City.
Al Ain University of Science and Technology offers 21 undergraduate programs, 7 graduate programs and 1 professional diploma through the colleges of Engineering, Pharmacy, Law, Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, Business, as well as, Communication and Media. The University always conducteds studies with aiming to launch more undergraduate and graduate programs.
The College of Pharmacy has obtained international certification from the American-based Accreditation Council of Pharmacy Education (ACPE). It is the first and only university in the UAE to get this kind of accreditation. Likewise; the College of Law received full accreditation from the Supreme Council for Evaluation, Research and Higher Education in France (HCERES). In addition to the College of Engineering which has the international accreditation from the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) in the United States. Continious effort is done to gain more international accreditations for the remaining programs.

The College of Law holds an international accreditation of the Bachelor of Law from the Council for Evaluation, Research

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR MASTER PROGRAMS A Bachelor degree of pharmacy obtained from a university recognized by
the Ministry of Education. A minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 point
scale (or its established equivalent) in the applicant’s Bachelor degree program.
A valid certificate in English and a degree of not less than (550)in TOEFL ITP, (79) in TOEFL IBT, (213) in TOEFL CBT, (6)in IELTS. The exception to this requirement applies to students whose mother tongue is English and finished a Bachelor’s degree from an institution where English is the language of instruction in an English-speaking country.
A student with a recognized bachelor degree with a CGPA between 2.00 and 2.99 on a scale of 4, or its established equivalent, and who meets the English language competency requirements for general admission stated above may be admitted conditionally if they meet the following requirements: Takes a maximum of nine credit hours in the first semester of study. Must achieve an overall grade point average of 3 on a scale of 4, or
its established equivalent, in the first nine credit hours of credit-bearing courses studied for the M.Sc. program.

STUDENT LIFE
The university seeks to meet the student›s needs by organizing various events and activities in scientific, cultural, artistic, athletic and health fields which will develop their skills and personalities.
The university provides a group of recreational facilities which allow students to practice many sports, cultural and fun activities, such as the gym, health club, lounges, and the theater.
The Career Development Unit organizes several workshops to help students determine possible alternatives and develop the skills necessary for the labor market.
