Dear Friends,
Welcome to Abby’s Helping Hand Annual Winter Gala! On behalf of the Board of Directors we’d like to thank all of you for attending and your continued support of our mission to improve the quality of life of those afflicted with Mitochondrial and other chronic diseases through support, education and research. Your donations have helped many children and elderly with therapies, home adjustments, assistance with purchasing handicapped vans and medical equipment that insurance does not cover. You can learn about those you have helped by visiting our “Who We’ve Helped” poster.
Abby’s Helping Hand was formed in November, 2013. Inspired by our daughter Abby and the outpouring support for the annual ‘Walk for Abby’ and ‘Ladies Brunch and Vendor Shop’, the Sauerhoefer family, along with the help of family and friends, formed the non-profit organization to give back to the East Windsor and surrounding communities. We cannot thank you enough for your support at these events along with other smaller events throughout the year such as ‘Ice Cream With Abby’, ‘Dinner With Abby’ and Abby’s birthday campaign. You are making a difference in so many lives!
If you know someone with Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, ALS, Autism, Muscular Dystrophy or Cerebral Palsy then they have something in common with Abby. That special someone in your life has a Mitochondrial Disease like Abby!! 1 in 2,500 people are impacted by these disorders that rob them of energy, speech, mobility, sight and they often suffer from daily seizures. It is people with these and other life threatening diseases that you help through your generous donations. You are giving them mobility to enjoy life outside of their home, or to be more independent within their own home or even the gift of memory or communication with Music Therapy!! You are improving the quality of their life with your generosity and for that Abby’s Helping Hand is truly grateful for your support.

Auction Rules
Participants will use the number on the back of their program book to place a bid. The number should be written next to the desired bid on a bid sheet for the silent auction.
Payment in full for items purchased by successful bidders will be made at the cashier table, which will open at approximately 9:30 p.m. All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges. Payments may be made in cash, by check, or by Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Credit Cards. Checks should be made payable to Abby’s Helping Hand. Payment must be made in full and all items must be claimed and removed this evening. Values on items are estimates only and are not warranted by Abby’s Helping Hand for tax purposes or general value. The Abby’s Helping Hand Auction Committee reserves the right to remove from sale any item it deems inappropriate, even if it has been previously advertised.
