flowers, which are abundant in cannabinoids and terpenes.
• Flavonoids and terpenes are molecules that interact with the cannabinoids in hemp to enhance the plant’s

CO2 Extraction Process
Our CO2 extraction method uses carbon dioxide under high pressure and extremely low temperatures to
isolate, preserve, and maintain the purity of the medicinal oil. This helps us to achieve the highest level of
purity, and high potency without any fillers.
The result is a consistent, pure and reliable Broad Spectrum Hemp Extract with CBD that has no odor or
fl avor—except for the Peppermint Oil Drops and Peppermint Oil Spray, which are naturally fl avored with

Carrier Oil
Our Broad Spectrum Hemp Extract CBD Oil Drops and CBD Oil Sprays are made with Organic Coconut
MCT Oil, which has fewer calories than other oils, is high in bio-availability and preserves the potency of

Hemp Seed Oil contains no CBD. Broad Spectrum Hemp Extract is pressed from the fl owers, leaves
and stalks of the Cannabis plant, not from hemp seeds like hemp seed oil and Manitoba Harvest’s other
current products.
Culinary Uses of Hemp Oil
Each 1 tbsp. serving of hemp seed oil contains 10 grams of omega-3 and omega-6. The light, nutty taste
is perfect drizzled over veggies, on pasta, or even on your popcorn for movie night. You can also add it to
salad dressings, sauces, dips, and shakes. Use this light green oil as a substitute for other oils in recipes that
aren’t heated above 300°F (150°C) is it not recommended for frying.

A: These terms are related to the product extraction process. Full-spectrum CBD contains everything found
in the hemp plant, including terpenes, cannabinoids, flavonoids and fatty acids. These elements working
together create what’s referred to as “the entourage effect.” Broad spectrum is similar to full spectrum –
it contains terpenes and cannabinoids - with the added benefit of being THC Free.*
Q: Is CBD safe for me to take?
A: Studies have shown that CBD has a very favorable safety profile for most adults. Those with medical
conditions or taking prescriptions, women who are pregnant or nursing, or children under the age of 2

Q: Will Manitoba Harvest Broad Spectrum Hemp Extract get me high?
A: Our Broad Spectrum Hemp Extract with CBD is completely non-intoxicating. Broad Spectrum Hemp
Extract with CBD is not derived from the marijuana plant, does not result in a “high,” contains less than
0.3% THC (the compound that creates intoxication) and is considered THC Free. Some users of CBD
report a sense of centered, wakeful calm.
Q: Will I test positive on a drug test?
A: Our Broad Spectrum Hemp Extract with CBD is made from hemp with less than 0.1% THC and goes
through an exacting extraction process to further minimize unwanted components in our final product.
Q: Is there a recommended serving?
A: Servings, which are expressed in milligrams, vary by format and product. Manitoba Harvest Broad
Spectrum Hemp Extract products contain the following:
• Tincture (unflavored and peppermint): 10-mg. CBD per serving
• Spray (peppermint): 5-mg. CBD per serving
• Soft gel (30 & 60-count): 15-mg. CBD per mL
Q: Can I travel with CBD?
A: The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has updated its policy to allow products that contain
no more than 0.3 percent THC on a dry weight basis. Our Broad Spectrum Hemp Extract is THC Free.*

Q: Does CBD expire?
A: Since we utilize MCT oil as our carrier (in the tinctures and spray) along with light protective brown glass
containers, estimated potency degradation would start on the listed expiration date. It is always best to
store supplements in a cool dry place. Any oil based supplement has the potential to “turn” when
exposed to high heat for any duration of time.
Q: Do other Manitoba Harvest products include CBD?
A: No. Hemp seed, which is what Manitoba Harvest food products are derived from, contains very little CBD.
