Brief Description of Undergraduate Courses Taught: (Course Title – Code: Description) 1 6th Year Clerkship Course in Medicine
A 10-‐credit-‐hour course in Medicine that lasts over 9 weeks and is offered to 6th year Medical students for 4 rotations per year. The course concentrates on patients’ Management, follow-‐up and principles of therapeutics.
2 Nursing Course (MDMD 318): A 9-‐credit-‐hour course in Nursing. The Department of Internal Medicine gives Lectures for this course, which includes the cardiology lectures given by me.
Brief Description of Postgraduate Courses Taught: (Course Title – Code: Description) 1 Full participation in postgraduate training and evaluation of Internal Medicine interns, junior and senior
residents, and demonstrators. It involves bedside clinical teaching, lectures, clinico-‐pathological meetings, tutorials and seminars (2008 -‐ present).
2 Active participation in the Residency Training Program of the Saudi Board and Arab Board Internal Medicine. The program is 4-‐year residency training and certified candidates are equated to those who hold other postgraduate degrees (2008 -‐ present).
3 Active participation in the Residency Training Program of Internal Medicine for King Faisal University
Fellowship. The program is 4-‐year residency training and certified candidates are considered equivalents to those who hold other postgraduate degrees (1987 -‐ present). Each year of The program is exactly 48 weeks and allocated 27.5 credit hours. The first year ( MDMD 811) is the Fundamentals of Internal Medicine. The second year (MDMD 821) is the Principles of Internal Medicine. The third year (MDMD 831) is the Practice of Medicine. The fourth year (MDMD 841) is the Advanced Internal Medicine
