PLANT DETAIL

The steam Generator is a controlled circulation plus RadiantReheat (Type CC+RR) boiler. The nineele#ations o" pul#eri'ed coal no''les are supplied ith coal "romnine numbers o" type R* 13 ,ol mills% hich "orm the loadcarryin "uel "or the boiler.

Control e!uipment pro#ided consists o" "urnace sa"euardsuper#isory system% scanner air control system and a secondaryair control system.

-aor au/iliary e!uipment pro#ided consists o" pul#eri'ers%"eeders% "ans and miscellaneous #al#es. Three number o" boiler circulatin pumps are pro#ided to ensure proper circulation o" ater in the "urnace all circuits.

OBJECTIVE

The obecti#e o" this procedure is to clean the internal sur"ace o" the steam eneratin portion and heatin sur"ace (0conomiser)usin speci"ied chemicals.

TESTING PROPOSAL

The obecti#es are achie#ed by carryin out the "olloin testinproposals.

,y carryin out an e""ecti#e boil&out% rease and any protecti#ecoatins applied are remo#ed.

Then% it is subected to acid cleanin "or the remo#al o" patchymill scale and rust.

Finally% the acid picled sur"ace is passi#ated "or the "ormation o" uni"orm and coherent manetite layer.
