strategically electrify segments of the economy that currently rely on fossil fuels. For example, we can reduce emissions from the transportation sector by using electricity rather than oil to power our cars.

• ODEC is also evaluating new and emerging technologies like battery storage to help transition to the new energy economy.

Solar LeaderODEC has contracted to purchase the output from a 75 MW utility-scale solar facility to be developed in Virginia.

• Project name – Cabin Point

• Land acquired by ODEC in 2010 for potential development of a coal generation facility

• Facility anticipated to be in-service in 2022

ODEC has entered a partnership to develop distributed solar projects in our Members’ service territories

• 10 to 15 distributed solar projects totaling at least 30 MW

• All projects to be completed by year-end 2021
