PSG College of Technology, started in the year 1951, is

an autonomous college for the past 33 years, offering

22 undergraduate programmes and 37 postgraduate

programmes. It also offers research programmes

leading to MS/Ph.D. degrees in all departments.

Currently more than 520 research scholars, both full

The Department of Electrical & Electronics

Engineering was one of the first few disciplines that

was started since the inception of the college in the

year 1951. The EEE Department has been playing a

vital role in producing scientists and technologists of

highest calibre.

The Department of Information Technology was

established in the year 1999 with a vision to develop

quality engineers to meet the current needs in the

emerging world of IT.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

COURSE TOPICS

Deep learning is a fast-growing field of Artificial

Intelligence concerned with the study and design of

computer a lgor i thms for l ea rn ing good

representations of data, at multiple levels of

abstraction. This growth is mainly driven by the

explosive growth of diverse applications of Artificial

Intelligence in production, the continued growth in

data volume and the complexity of large-scale learning

systems. To lay better foundation for the future – to

make the connected, smartening world smarter and to

embrace AI for the benefit of society, advances in AI

and DL, their new innovative applications, and

challenges and lessons learned need to be shared and

discussed. This workshop will facilitate AI

researchers, practitioners and business executives to

share their expertise and knowledge with participants.

It will provide an interactive forum for discussion on

recent and on-going developments, key issues and

challenges, and practices related to AI applications.
