About the SSO
The Sudbury Symphony Orchestra is a not-for-profit charitable organization that is dedicated to
increasing the awareness and appreciation of classical music in the Sudbury Region and surrounding
area. This is done through the presentation of high quality concerts featuring local and professional
musicians, and by encouraging artistic excellence, commitment and education.
The Sudbury Symphony Orchestra is powered by a vision of promoting a culture of creativity in the City
of Greater Sudbury. We aspire to foster a community in which children and adults are exposed to the
extraordinary personal benefits that come from participation in music and the arts.
