Micah Orloff Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. -Psalm 23:4 14 dead, 22 wounded, a city, a county, a nation, a world devastated. A couple weeks ago, San Bernardino experienced a tragedy that shook this world to the core. Not just because of the loss of life, but the spirit of fear that has dwelled over the world as a result of the incident. Whether it was an isolated incident, or terrorism of the highest degree, it does not matter -it was a pure act of evil. And from this act, the world became more divided, politicizing the tragedy to argue special interests, spewing hate and anger. And in the unrighteous anger, the world allowed a spirit of fear to dwell among us. When I say the world, I don’t just refer to the biblical use because many Christians fell into that oppression as well. The enemy, the father of lies, prowls around like a roaring lion looking to devour (1 Peter 5:8) and he had ensnared many. However, in this tragedy and the aftermath that has ensued, yesterday, right there in San Bernardino, over 700 bikers came together to support the 23rd annual Loma Linda toy run- a benefit that brings toys to patients at the Loma Linda Children’s Hospital. A few blocks were shut down and the bikers were paraded in by local police and fire dept. escort. Families pulled over to witness the event taking out their cameras with their kids waving at the bikers. Santa rode in on his sled (a Harley) as well, bringing some bad ass to Berdoo. Countless toys were made available -every child was able to get one. So many toys were provided that the children’s hospital saved the remainder to provide gifts to patients who have to celebrate their birthdays in the hospital. Financial donations were poured into the hospital. There were a lot of smiles, a lot of hugs, and a few tears of joy. But what was really amazing was that, while this community was shaken to the core just a couple weeks ago, while the world argued and politicked, it rallied many to come together with no agenda, no politics- just love. For those that know Him, it was ever apparent that God had brought his Shalom - supernatural peace - to that place yesterday. The world can be a scary place sometimes so overwhelming that one might feel it will be impossible to overcome. God the Spirit has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love. That was on display yesterday. Where a spirit of fear was staking claim on many over the past few weeks, in that moment, in that place, God would have nothing of it. Using His missionaries and the weapons of the Kingdom, to take back territory for His perfect will and purposes bringing Heaven to Earth. To God be all the glory! What is God saying to me? It is easy to be overcome with doubt and in the fear of evil in this world. But behold, I sent my Son, Jesus, who overcame the world. I did this for you. What am I going to do about it? Remember that He is with us through those valleys and as we seek first the Kingdom, no weapon formed against us shall prosper. So, seek first the Kingdom.

Whom Shall I Fear? Micah Orloff Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. -Psalm 23:4

14 dead, 22 wounded, a city, a county, a nation, a world devastated.

So many

toys were provided that the children’s hospital saved the remainder to provide gifts to patients who have to celebrate their birthdays in the hospital.

Using His missionaries and the weapons of the Kingdom, to take back territory for His

perfect will and purposes bringing Heaven to Earth. To God be all the

glory!

Meet the Prez Featuring Greg Frasher from our Fresno CA Chapter How did you become a Black Sheep? Back around 2001 I was taking the long way home one day and encountered three bikers. I caught up with them, and two were Black Sheep. I started riding with them for 6 months, and at a BBQ at Vince Sanchez house, was handed a vest along with Vince and we were in. Two days later we had our first Black Sheep chapter meeting at an In and Out Burger, and I was made VP. James Gray was President, Jon Anderson was secretary and Vince was Treasurer. We starting riding all over the place, almost every weekend we had something going on. When did you become President for Fresno chapter? Soon after the first few months, James Gray decided to leave the chapter. By then we had other members, and they voted me in as President, I think around 2001. I have been President ever since. What bike do you ride? I have been riding a 1998 Dyna Wide Glide, a 2001 Heritage Soft Tail, and a 1973 FXE hard tail. How long have you been riding? My first license was a motorcycle license when I was 15. Over the years I rode on and off until 1987. I started riding again on the hard tail in 1996.

Tell us a little about yourself and your family. I am a welder, fabricator with a passion for working on Harley Davidson Motorcycles. I’m a 4th generation Fresno native. Married for 29 years to the most wonderful wife in the world, Kellie, who in spite of my many character defects has brought out the best in me. I have two wonderful daughters and an outstanding son in law and two grandchildren who call me Papa. I have a younger brother who lives

in Indy and an older sister who lives in Las Vegas. My wife and I own a small business. We attend the Vineyard Church and are in leadership both in men’s groups, small groups, worship team and are co-leaders in Celebrate Recovery. Tell us about your experience with Black Sheep. My experience with Black Sheep has allowed me to be a light in the darkness, and a helping hand to those in need. It has taught me what being a brother really means. It has allowed me to make lifetime friends in many states. It has taught me what commitment and service really look like. I have been places that most motorcycle enthusiasts won’t ever see and country I did not think existed. It has given me a passion for the motorcycle community and for those who don’t really feel like they fit in a church setting. The ministry has enhanced the way I share the Gospel with those who wouldn’t normally expect the message coming from a person in black leather and riding on a Harley. I now have brothers and sisters I can trust without reservation, and join in service to the Gospel. They have

taught and encouraged me to be a better leader than I ever thought I would be. To them I owe an enormous debt of gratitude. And I have a brother or two from another Mother……. These guys are fantastic.

May your Troubles be

Less, and your

Blessings

be more, And

Nothing but Happiness

come through

Your Door.

-Irish Blessing
