Policyng.com is a Nigerian startup that will build and apply variety of tech tools to public

policy analysis. The startup was launched on the 1st of May 2013 and has developed multiple

tech tools (including PolicyMapper, iReportElection, Policy Document Archive, ejournalng

and a blog) within a year of existence.

This is our tech tool designed to analyse public projects (within agreed client’s scope) with

the goals of understanding public policy approach of our client and to produce a

comprehensive document on our client’s public project footprint while holding a political

Leadership position (elected or otherwise). This tool is very basic to political campaign

narrative aimed beyond borders.

With this tool, politicians can now show the world what they achieved serving the people

and their public policy direction. Analysts can now map public projects, establish policy

direction and predict. NGOs and other civic organizations can keep politicians honest and

academics can start to have data to work with.

IReportElection

This is our tech tool designed to close the gaps in election monitoring to election fraud in

Nigeria (useful in other countries too). This is a simple GPS based mobile app that inputs

election data for real-time mapping and accessible online. This is in line with our civic

responsibility plan towards achieving a better Nigeria.

Public Policy Document Archive

This is our first tech tool. This document is designed with its own cloud server to ease these

public document collection and accessibility (as third party civic organization). This is also in

line with our civic responsibility of centralizing Nigeria’s public policy documents.

Ejournalng.com

This is designed to help young Nigerians studying public policy related topics get published

and also share resources with others. This has a fair motivation of a royalty sum attached to

the rate of download of their work.
