OUR SERVICES

Our main focus was to provide a Mobile Crushing Service to the Mining and Quarry Industry. Our business model allows us to be very flexible, enabling the potential to crush aggregates in various volumes as and when required.

This division is concentrated on the Hiring out of Machinery for the Mining and Quarry Industries in a Professional Manner.

This division is operating as a Heavy Machinery Transport Company, for the Mining and Quarry Industries. We offer a Professional Service with a focus on Safety Considerations.

Black Quarries Ltd is dedicated to quality and con-tinuous process improvement for both clients and employees. Our main objective is to ensure that through our Quality management system we deliver the full requirements to the client within the time-frame given, successfully achieving quality in both the administration of our projects and in the delivery of a product which meets the Clients requirements. We focus on the objectives outlined in the policy at-tached to achieve this overall goal.

It is the Policy of Black Quarries Ltd, to work within a management system that provides a Quality Product and Service for the Employer. Black Quarries Ltd has an integrated management system covering Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental. Each project has a site specific Project Quality Plan

developed in accordance with the client’s needs and requirements. This plan is developed in consultation with the customer and their active involvement in its design and implementation is encouraged. The plans are live documents that are revised continuously during the course of the project. The Project Quality Management Plan defines the requirements for the design and construction of a project, and the manner in which it the plan will be implemented, managed and audited over the construction period. The overall purpose of the Project Quality Plan is to establish a project system capable of meeting contract and regulatory requirements. It seeks, through verifica-tion documents to ensure that appropriate systems are in place to meet these requirements and guides the staff in implementing them. The Project Quality Management Plan provides an on-going reference during the course of the project, and a focal point for recording events and milestones. The company encourages the Designer Site Representative, Office designer and suppliers to be involved in the formula-tion and monitoring of the Project Quality Manage-ment Plan. This provides an agreed datum against which the progress of the project can be assessed. This Project Quality plan is controlled and managed by our company Quality Manager as well as the on-site Team. We firmly believe that this approach ex-emplifies how quality management in construction should be operated and proof of this is in retaining and developing our Quality, Health & Safety and En-vironmental certification. Black Quarries Ltd prides itself ondelivering high quality results to the client ahead of time and on budget.We strive to do so in a safe manner, causing as little disruption to the gen-eral public as possible.

Black Quarries Ltd ensures that Quality, Environmen-tal and Health and Safety plans are developed, imple-mented and maintained on all projects in conjunc-tion with the Health and Safety Department. All The system is designed to ensure when implemented the entire workforce is responsible for meeting the contract requirements with respect to quality, pro-gramme and safety.

As previously stated above it is our policy to use lo-cal suppliers where possible as we feel it brings us closer to the immediate community.

Also when possible we always like to hire locally and insist on the best possible training we can pro-vide for the Ghanaian personnel, this is done by our highly qualified experienced staff we already have in place. We hope that we can build a strong relation-ship with our employees and work together for many long years tome.

Depending on the clients requirements we are able to supply site offices in the form of mobile contain-ers. These can be set up quickly and with a minimum up-set to the local surrounding reducing the impact on the area when the job is finished.

This provides a good base of operations to oversee the project and to allow for the project management team to be on site at critical times during the project, to monitor and progress the project in the best fash-ion. When set up their own power supply is available in the form of a generator and this also allows for a small workshop to be install to facilitate a main-tenance and safety regime to carried out ,to insure safety and reliability of machine is ensured at all times. It also ensures that good records are kept on site for reference at all times

We at Black Quarries Ltd hire provide accommoda-tion and shelter for all our personnel, we also ensure that all staff are well looked after and are in need of nothing. We have a budget set aside that ensures all staff is also well fed and whatever else is needed we try provide.
