Abranet™ - Technical Specification

• The ABRANET™ screen is flat as a conventional coated abrasive product.

• The surface of the ABRANET™ has app. 24 000 holes for a 6’’ disc.

• The max. distance from sanding point to dust extraction is 0,5 mm.

• ABRANET™ uses a hook and loop system to attach the grinding-disc to the pad

• Large hooks make the dust easier to exhaust from the grinding surface

• The backing pad has 21 exhaust-holes

Abranet™ - Scratch Pattern

• Pills are dust and thread particles from the paint. ABRANET™ gives less problems with pilling due to:

• - better dust exhaust • - smaller grinding area • - short distance from sanding point to dust extraction

• Caking reduces the lifetime of the abrasive

• Method 1: Dust concentrations by filter method (standard method), four measure points, one at each corner of the car. Average results:

• ABRANET P320: 0.05 mg/m³

• ROYAL P320: 0.43 mg/m³

• Method 2: Dust concentration in breathing zone of the sander by DataRam. Average results:

• ABRANET P320: 0.02 mg/m³

• ROYAL P320: 0.27 mg/m³
