The Engineering Services Unit was initiated in 1983 to strengthen the relationship between the American University in Cairo and the engineering profession in Egypt and the Middle East. More than 140 public- and private-sector companies and governmental agencies are now regular clients of Engineering Services.
The programs and the services offered by the Engineering Services include:
