WHO WE ARE
The Australian Insurance Academy (AIA) isa licenced Registered TrainingOrganisation, providing services to thegeneral insurance industry. We arefiercely independent, with no ownershipor financial affiliation with any insurer,broking group or other service provider.
Our principals, Tina and Peter Dean,have been involved in many facets of thegeneral insurance industry throughouttheir careers, working for internationalbrokers (Sedgwick and Jardine),insurers (Australian Eagle and Elders) aswell as managing smaller brokeragebusinesses. They have been activelyinvolved in all facets of general insurancetraining for over twenty years.
Tina and Peter understand thepressures faced by organisations whorequire cost- and time-effective solutionsto their training needs, whilst alsoseeking valuable and relevant trainingand genuine support..

LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS We offer two Learning Management Systems, depending on the solution you require.
Insurers and underwriting agencies, in particular, provide valuable training to their brokerpartners, but often find the administration time consuming. Knowledge Online allows theseorganisations to offer their own, branded ‘Learning Centre’, automating the enrolment in,and management of, webinars, live events and online courses.
Aisle Learn© (Australian Insurance Skillsand Learning Environment) has beendeveloped specifically for the industry andprovides a total solution for training ofinternal staff.

As well as the standard functionality of an LMS, it also provides management andreporting of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points, wherever they maybe earned, and organisations can see at a glance, how they are tracking with thisimportant compliance requirement.
It includes an expanded AIA course catalogue and the ability to create, upload andmanage organisation specific courses, including webinars and recordings.
Both systems can be customised with your brand colours and logo - they are 'your' LMS.
