Please do remember that class teachers are the first port of call with issues regarding your child. They can be seen, by prior arrangements, at a mutually convenient time.

If you would like to come in and talk to a member of the Senior Leadership Team please ask the office staff to book you a time. Please note, it is also possible to ask for a telephone discussion if this is more convenient.

Questionnaires

Many thanks to those who

completed paper

questionnaires during the

Christmas Cafes. There are

more available in the entrance

way, or you can complete

online at Parentview.

We thought about how to

mark the children’s school

years, with a lasting

memory. Each year from

now on, every child will

decorate a Christmas Tree

decoration. For Reception a

Star, Year 1 a bauble, Year

2 a stocking, Year 3 a bell,

Year 4 a snowman, Year 5

a Christmas Tree, and

Year 6 an angel. When

they leave Primary

School, they will have 7

different decorations with

memories of each year

here. My parents still

have decorations that I

made when I was young,

so I hope that you can

also treasure this

sequence of decorations

for years to come.

We have now reached the grand total of 1066 star vouchers collected which means we have easily reached the £500 target. We are also slightly ahead of the other schools in terms of the numbers of vouchers collected per pupil for the extra £500 at this stage. This is brilliant news but please do keep up the collections as it could all change.

The bin crews have a break now

from the stars deliveries as

Christmas is an extremely busy time

for them. The stars will

start getting delivered

again on 22 Jan '18.

Merry Christmas from

the Recycling Team!

Can your family write their own

version of ‘12 days of Christmas’?

School always has their own

version—this year we can include 6

Christmas Parties, 4 coloured teams

and 2 new staff! Wishing you all a

very Merry Christmas and a happy

New Year.

Thetford Voices are looking for

young people aged 6-16 to join

them for Christmas Carol singing on

Friday 22nd December. Please see

the school noticeboard for details.

Secret Santa

Our children’s Secret Santa celebrated another

year of success. 181 presents bought, wrapped

and distributed for the children to give out to

family and pets at Christmas. Sincere thanks to

the Clarke family who undertake the shopping,

and to the parents and staff who arranged the

wrapping, selecting and distributing.
