Greetings from L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad.
With the advancement of retinal and choroidal imaging, our understanding of the pathogenesis and management of posterior segment eye diseases has improved significantly. However, many controversial findings remain, which need further discussion for better patient management.
To bring in the experience from eminent international and national faculty, we are organizing a conference 'CROSSFIRE: Controversies in Retinal Imaging' on August 2nd, 2015 at 9:00 am at Patodia Auditorium, Level 6, L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad.
The Scientific Program for this meeting will include discussion on challenging cases based on retinal and choroidal imaging, with emphasis on analysis and the appropriate use of new and emerging imaging technologies. The meeting will also include pearls of wisdom and knowledge by the leaders in this field on specific imaging modalities. This meeting will help participants in the application of recent imaging modalities and their interpretation.
Case-based discussions, substantial time for interactive debates and questions from the audience to each presenter and panellist, rather than didactic lectures by speakers are the few innovative concepts of the meeting. Participants are encouraged to take an active role in the discussions and make the meeting successful.
