Junior Chefs Academy The Junior Chefs Academy is sponsored by Harrison Catering Services’ charity, ‘The Geoffrey Harrison Foundation’, and is supported by the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts and the Craft Guild of Chefs. The course is aimed at Year 10 and 11 students, and provides a great start for those interested in a career in food and culinary arts. There are three courses to choose from: Junior Chefs Academy Junior Asian Chefs Academy Junior Cake and Bake Academy Each course lasts for 8 -10 weeks, and is delivered on Saturday mornings from 9.30am to 12.30pm (Thursday 5pm-8pm for Cake and Bake). Each session costs £10. What next?After completing the Junior Chefs course, you can choose to go on to study the “full time” Chef and Restaurant Diploma course or join one of our Apprenticeship programmes. The diploma course will enable you to access employment in the industry and will also give you the opportunity to progress on to Higher Education.

The apprenticeship course will give you the opportunity to earn and learn as well as be included as one of the 3 million young apprentices for 2020.

These courses in hospitality enable you to travel the world and will also help you secure employment for life.
