The TUT-65TM and TUT-65TMB are turnstiles designed for barcode ticket scanningapplications, principally at stadiums, arenas, convention centers and auditoriums. By
presenting a valid barcode ticket to the turnstile,a patron is able to gain access into a facility withoutany venue personnel interaction. The TUT-65TM isa fix mounted, hard-wired version intended for newconstruction capable of providing directcommunication with the ticketing system. TheTUT-65TMB is a portable, battery powered, totallywireless RF version specifically designed forexisting facilities or locations where hard-wiring isimpractical.
Both the TUT-65TM and TUT-65TMB will easilyinterface with any type of barcode admissions orticketing system. Each turnstile includes amechanical register to count entries as well asthe ability to send counts to a PC based counting
system at a remote location. An additional added feature is the built-in ticket collectionbox which allows manual ticket collection and validation during non-scanning events. Theturnstiles can be purchased either as mechanical, counting turnstiles which can easily befield upgraded to electronic control, or as electronic units with the scanning systemalready integrated into the turnstile, depending on the facility's particular requirements.

Barrier optical turnstiles are designed to provide the high level of security associated with physical barriers for supervisedaccess control applications. A fully integrated multi-sensor detection system provides rapid throughput and extremelyaccurate tailgate monitoring. A wide variety of operating modes are user selectable to ensure maximum flexibility. Uniquedesign allows immediate failure to barrier-free passage upon fire or emergency. Standard cabinet finishes are satin stainlesssteel with corian top cover. Other available finishes include, brass, bronze, powder coated steel and laminates. Marble topsare also available. Available Models are TOT-20BPL Bi-Parting Leaf, TOT20HB Horizontal Barrier and the Speedlane 900.Standard aisles are 22” and 34” - 36” (ADA compliant). We also offer 60” and 72” high barriers with the TOT-20HB andSpeedlane 900 for very high security, low supervision installation.
Although custom tripod turnstile designs are suitable for most applications, some very high visibility locations require thediscreet security provided by optical turnstiles. Barrier-free optical turnstiles are not intended for all types of securityapplications, but if an unobtrusive system is required for a supervised area, optical turnstiles can easily integrate into anysurroundings. A large variety of operating functions are available to meet virtually any access control situation. Fully integratedsensors, displays, status consoles and programmable logic controllers supervise traffic flow. Four standard models are offeredsuitable for most installations. Metal Detection TurnstileThe THT-100MD is one of the enhanced full height turnstiles offered byBoon Edam Tomsed to meet specific security applications where thesafety and security of metal detection is required. The fully integratedsystem combines aesthetic appeal with real control for installationsdemanding accurate and efficient monitoring of persons carrying metalobjects. Electrically controlled in one or both directions, the turnstile iscapable of interfacing with any type of card access or biometric system.Available with all full height turnstiles.
Available with all the features of other Boon Edam Tomsed turnstiles, theTHT-100MD is especially well suited for airports, schools, precious metalsfactories, courthouses, prisons and military bases. The THT-100MD isequipped with 2 key-operated modes of operation. The first allowsauthorized users free passage through the turnstile unless a metal objectis detected. When notified by the integrated metal detector, the turnstilelocks and bars passage until the violation is resolved by security personnel.The second mode integrates an access control system into the turnstileand allows one at a time entry to authorized users through the accesscontrol system. If an alarm condition occurs, the access control reader isshunted and the turnstile remains locked, barring entry until the violation isinvestigated and cleared.
THT-100MD
Mantrap TurnstileThe THT-100MT is another enhanced full height turnstile specificallydesigned for very high security applications requiring positive identificationthrough a biometric device. The THT-100MT uses a unique two-stage entryprocess with independent controls for each stage. The initial stage requiresa user to present a valid form of identification to rotate the turnstile 90º andgain access to the second quadrant. At this point, a separate, usuallybiometric, device is used to verify the individual's identity before allowingthe final 90º of rotation and access to the secure area.
The independent electrical controls at each stage of the entry processprevent unauthorized users from presenting a non-identity dependent cardto the first access control device, rotating the turnstile 90º and then usingthe card again at the first access control device to complete the final 90ºrotation cycle and gain entry without using the biometric device. Electricallycontrolled exiting through traditional access or biometric control devices isalso available. Fabricated from satin polished stainless steel, the THT-100MTis a serious security turnstile capable of restricting access only to identified,authorized users.

Construction is a 2" square buckwith the interior door panel frame fabricated from 2" squaretubing with round horizontal members. Due to the generalclose proximity to full height turnstiles, constructionmaterials usually match the turnstiles. Lexan gates use afull 3/8" thick panel instead of horizontal bars. Gate heightof 86" matches turnstiles and clear opening of 34" exceedsminimum ADA requirements. Gate swing is 90º, with thegate panel attached to the buck via a continuous stainlesssteel hinge. Final width and height can be customized forindividual applications.

The THG-42E is a one-way,90º swing, or a two-way,180º swing, self-closing
handicap gate designed to be used with an access controlsystem, generally in conjunction with waist-high accesscontrol turnstiles. The gate is electrically operated by a 24 VDCdoorstrike. Closing is achieved by a sub-floor mountedhydraulic shock absorber. Construction is a 2" square stainlesssteel framework, polished to a #4 satin finish and a 1/4" Lexanfiller panel with universal handicap logo. Gate dimensions andoperational specifications meet ADA requirements. Clearopening of 32" can be adjusted as necessary. Overall height of38" matches waist-high turnstiles and can vary as needed.Available materials include anodized aluminum, powdercoated steel, bronze, brass or #8 mirror finish stainless steel.
