Simplicity =

Accessibility

Accessibility of point of sale transactions increases for every step introduced into the process. By simplifying and reducing the User Interfaces, the process becomes more accessible for the seller and buyer, regardless of their physical or cognitive ability. The following slides provide some methods for achieving this goal.

Amazon DashOne Touch Ordering

Amazon Dash reduces the complete transaction process to a single button press. The button can be placed where a product is used and pressing the button triggers Amazon to create a transaction and send a refill. For instance, a user would press the button on their washing machine when they are almost out of Tide. https://www.amazon.com/oc/dash-button?reqInv=1

Voice Recognition

How can the process be simplified, especially in a market setting, by allowing the seller to generate an invoice via voice recognition instead of using their hands throughout the process?
