• Turnover from 1 July, 2006 to 30 Nov 2006 : Rs. 2 Lakh

• Net profit for the last accoyear 90000• Turnover during last accounting year 5 Lakh. It is

expected that business will increase by 20% this year


Solution

• 200000 + 40000 = 240000• Sale during this period = 60000• Turnover during last year: 5.5 Lakhs. • GP rate : 150000/550000 *100 = 27.27%• Loss of GP this year: 180000*27.27% =

49086 claim amount.

• Existing shareholders . • What is notice period: at least 15 days

(with minimum30 days and maximum 60 days open).
