RINA provides a wide range of services across the Energy, Marine, Certification, Transport & Infrastructure and Industry sectors through a global network of 170 offices in 65 countries.

RINA is a member of key international organisations and an important contributor to the development of new legislative standards.

Recognitions

RINA is recognised nationally and internationally, through its wealth of skills, as able to provide services aimed at improving the quality of life, safety and protection of the environment. It operates on behalf of over 115 flag Administrations: in the EU zone, in agreement with Regulation CE/391/2009 and Directive 2009/15/CE; outside the EU zone, in accordance with the IMO provisions (International Maritime Organization). It is also Certifying Authority on behalf of all the category 1 flags of the Red Ensign Group, for the audit and certification on conformity with the Marine Guidance Note MGN 280 of the MCA (Maritime and Coastguard Agency). Certifying Authority on behalf of the Administration of Luxembourg, the Marshall Islands, Malta and others for the issuing of certifications for commercial yachts. RINA is also accredited by the main accreditation bodies and notified by the competent Ministries to operate according to the most important EU Directives for the issue of CE marking.

RINA is also a member of the CISQ Federation (Italian certification of company management systems), which brings together the main national certification bodies and adheres to the international agreement IQNET (The International Certification Network), which represents the biggest international network of management system certification for quality, environment and safety. The Test laboratory of RINA is accredited by ACCREDIA DL and DT as laboratory and calibration centre for material testing equipment, indicated by the IMO as national reference laboratory for testing according to the IMO 2010 FTP Code. Authorised by the Italian Ministry of the Interior, in accordance with Ministerial Decree dated 26 March 1985, to operate in the field of fire resistance and fire reaction of materials according to Regulation CPR 305/2011 and to Ministerial Decree dated 26 June 1984. The Railway Certification Laboratory is accredited by ACCREDIA under the UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005, in recognition of compliance with the system requirements for all test activities and of technical competency in relation to accredited tests.

RICONOSCIMENTI

RINA è riconosciuto a livello nazionale e internazionale come banca di competenze in grado di erogare servizi volti al miglioramento della qualità della vita, della sicurezza e della salvaguardia dell’ambiente. Opera per conto di oltre 115 Amministrazioni di bandiera: in ambito UE, in accordo al Regolamento (CE) n. 391/2009 e alla Direttiva 2009/15/CE; in ambito extra UE, in accordo alle norme IMO (International Maritime Organization). È inoltre Certifying Authority per conto di tutte le bandiere di categoria 1 del Red Ensign Group per verifica e certificazione in conformità a Marine Guidance Note MGN 280 della MCA (Maritime and Coastguard Agency) e per conto delle Amministrazioni di Lussemburgo, Marshall Islands, Malta ed altre per emissione certificazioni per yacht commerciali. RINA è inoltre membro della Federazione CISQ (Certificazione Italiana Sistema Qualità Aziendale), che raccoglie i principali enti di certificazione nazionali e aderisce all’accordo internazionale IQNET (The International Certification Network), che rappresenta il più grande network internazionale della certificazione dei sistemi di gestione per la qualità, l’ambiente e la sicurezza. Il Laboratorio Prove di RINA è accreditato ACCREDIA DL e DT come laboratorio e centro di taratura per macchine prova materiali, indicato IMO quale laboratorio nazionale di riferimento per le prove in accordo con IMO 2010 FTP Code e autorizzato dal Ministero dell’Interno, in accordo con DM 26 Marzo 1985, ad operare in materia di resistenza al fuoco e di reazione al fuoco dei materiali in accordo con Regolamento CPR 305/2011 e con DM 26 Giugno 1984. Il Railway Certification Laboratory è accreditato ACCREDIA ai sensi della norma UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005, a riconoscimento della conformità ai requisiti del sistema per tutte le attività di prova nonché della competenza tecnica relativamente alle prove accreditate.
