Important note:The displayed blood glucose Statuswill only be meaningful if the settings have been properlyselected. We therefore strongly recommend that you talk to your healthcare team before you change theconfiguration for Hypo risk, Mean blood glucose and Variability.

The number of tests per test day must be sufficient in order to draw appropriate conclusions regarding therapyfrom the statistical analysis. In addition, the tests must be conducted at meaningful points in time spread over thecourse of the day. Only then does the analysis in the Statusreport element correctly reflect the relevant bloodglucose parameter. If, for example, blood glucose is only tested when blood glucose levels are within the normalrange (euglycaemia) or higher range (hyperglycaemia), the Hypo riskis artificially lowered.

Important note:The Hypo limitcan only be a reliable indicator of hypoglycaemia (low blood glucose) if the limithas been properly selected. We therefore strongly recommend that you talk to your healthcare professional orhealthcare team before you change the limit. This function is not a substitute for hypoglycaemia training by yourhealthcare professional or healthcare team.

Important note:Never make changes to your therapy plan based on data contained in the Statusreport element;always talk to your healthcare team first.

Mean bG:The representation of the mean bloodglucose value (mean value of all blood glucose

values in the selected time range) is defined by theupper and lower limit as well as the hypoglycaemialimit and the lower limit of the red area that indi-cates that the mean blood glucose is too high. Bysetting these limits, you determine the values thatfall within the target range (green), above or belowthe target range (yellow) or below the hypo limitand above the lower limit of the red area that indi-cates that the mean blood glucose is too high.

If you wish to use the lower limit of the target range asan indicator of a possible hypoglycaemia (low bloodglucose), it is important to remember the following:the indicator will only be reliable if the limit has beenproperly selected. We therefore strongly recommendthat you talk to your healthcare professional beforeyou set the limit. This function is no substitute forhypoglycaemia training by your healthcare pro-fessional or healthcare team.
