Updates in Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD)
Location and ParkingThe symposium will be held in the Wong Kerlee International Conference Center, located southeast of the intersection of University Avenue and Campus Street. Take Interstate 10 (the San Bernardino Freeway), to the Anderson/Tippecanoe exit. Turn right/south on Anderson Street, proceed two blocks, turn right/west on Stewart Street. Turn left/south on Campus Street, proceed one block and then turn left/east into the P3 parking structure.
The conference center has hotel-style air conditioning. Some attendees find sections of the room warm while others find the room very cool. Please dress accordingly.

Course FeesThe registration fee is $145 for physicians; $95 for nurses and other professionals. Visa and MasterCard accepted. The program fee includes continuing education credit and certificate, course syllabus and refreshments. Early registration is recommended, as space is limited. Lunch cannot be guaranteed for registrations received after 12 noon on Wednesday, February 21, 2018.
Cancellation PolicyA $25 administrative fee will be charged for cancellations prior to Thursday, February 22, 2018. No refunds will be issued after Thursday, February 22, 2018 or if the participant does not show for the symposium.

Course DescriptionThe overall objectives of this symposium are to present information about the newest therapies in adult congenital heart disease and arrhythmias. Also, we would like to present an update on cardiovascular disease prevention.
ObjectivesUpon completion of this symposium, the participant will be able to:
1. Discuss current concepts and management options for common cardiac arrhythmias.
2. Discuss new concepts in cardiovascular prevention.
3. Discuss new concepts and management of adults with congenital heart disease.
Who Should Attend?Physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, case managers, dietitians, social workers, pharmacists, radiologic technologists, respiratory care practitioners, sonographers and imaging specialists.
