The NRC has 1eceived your March 17, 1989 submittal of Revision 2 to theUpdated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) for Fermi-2 and the annual SafetyEvaluation Summary Report.

During a future site visit, NRR staff would be interested in inspecting two ofthe design changes in the annual Safety Evaluation Summary Report. We wouldlike to inspect the design changes and review the design packages and anycalculations associated with the package. The two design changes that we haveselected for review are:

(1) Replacement of the Reactor Water Cleanup System Holdup Line(Safety Evaluation No. 86-0255, Implementation Document No. EPP6671, System No. G33-00); and

(2) Relocated Control Rod Drive Minimum Flow Line(Safety Evaluation No. 86-0250, Implementation Document No. EDP d6736,SystemNo.C1100).

We will work with your staff to select a date for this inspection effort.

This letter completes NPC action on TAC NO. 71235.
