Can be installed using a constructionadhesive that is approved for foam.

Cutting Wedge can be installed to create absolutely seamless absorptivewalls, and enhance imaging by reducing unwanted reflections. The 2000

design enables you to increase thickness quicklyby nesting layers instead of buying differentand incompatible products. By adding 2 or3 nested layers of CW2K, you can controlenergy hot spots in corners or in the path offirst reflections quickly and efficiently. CuttingWedge 2000 can be used to simply and efficientlycreate virtual bass traps in corners by nesting 3or 4 layers of CW2K.

    1014 AcoustiKit

The 1014 AcoustiKit provides enough acousticaltreatment for desktop music production or asmall mixing room up to 10x14. It can easily beexpanded as the facility and the budget grow.

The extra surface area, created by the CuttingWedge pattern, makes it a highly efficient soundabsorber. Complimenting the wall panels arethe Bermuda Triangle Traps. These extend theabsorption range, providing bass control in theroom corners. Completing the AcoustiKit are theoriginal Art Diffusors. These are true BinaryArray diffusors as seen in professional recordingfacilities around the world. These sound scatteringdevices make the room seem larger by breakingup reflections.

A room layout guide is included with the package. The design, created by a professional acoustician, illustrates placement of materials in relation to thelistening position.

The acoustical foam comes in our standardcharcoal grey. The diffusors are white and maybe painted with a water based latex spray paint tomatch the room dcor.

APPLICATIONSonora Sound Shim wall panels are used for acoustical absorption ordirected reflection combined with strong design elements. This productis suitable for theaters and other critical listening environments.

CONSTRUCTIONThe core construction is a dimensionally stable 6-7 PCF glassfiberboard attached at an angle to an MDO plywood backer and ribs, covered face and edges with a layer of 16-20 PCF molded fiberglass forabsorption, or 1/16 unperforated copolymer face sheet for high frequencyreflection. Finishes are completely adhered to the face of the panel andreturned to the back for a full finished, fully tailored edge.

    SIZE AVAILABILITY

The Hiper Panel, Flat Panel Diffuser is a patented acoustical panel thatcombines absorption and diffusion into one sound panel. The device issimilar in style to a standard fabric covered acoustical wall panel andcan be intermixed with them.

Acoustical performance differs significantly from outward appearance.

Internally the panel substrates have a pattern of holesin two substrate layers, 180 degrees out-of-phasewith each other and separated by a thin membranecreating an equal distribution of absorptive andreflective regions both vertically and horizontally. There will also be additional cancellation at certainfrequencies due to wave interference from phaseshifting due to the time delay of passing through the

various combinations of substrate and membrane andreflecting back through the panel.

VIB-X Pad absorbs vibration energy and thus prevents the

    StratiQuilt QUILTED FIBERGLASS

StratiQuilt rolls and panels combine noise barrierperformance with efficient sound absorption. This light-weight, semi-flexible, easy-to-handle material is a vinylcoated, grey colored fiberglass facing cloth, quilted to asupporting 2 lb./cu. ft. density fiberglass.

As a semi-flexible barrier enclosure, StratiQuilts absorptive properties help to control reverberanenergy inside an area. StratiQuilt does not accordion fold, therefore it should be considered as suspended barrier in areas requiring infrequent access.
