Cutting Wedge can be installed to create absolutely seamless absorptivewalls, and enhance imaging by reducing unwanted reflections. The 2000
design enables you to increase thickness quicklyby nesting layers instead of buying differentand incompatible products. By adding 2 or3 nested layers of CW2K, you can controlenergy hot spots in corners or in the path offirst reflections quickly and efficiently. CuttingWedge 2000 can be used to simply and efficientlycreate virtual bass traps in corners by nesting 3or 4 layers of CW2K.

1014 AcoustiKit
The 1014 AcoustiKit provides enough acousticaltreatment for desktop music production or asmall mixing room up to 10x14. It can easily beexpanded as the facility and the budget grow.
The extra surface area, created by the CuttingWedge pattern, makes it a highly efficient soundabsorber. Complimenting the wall panels arethe Bermuda Triangle Traps. These extend theabsorption range, providing bass control in theroom corners. Completing the AcoustiKit are theoriginal Art Diffusors. These are true BinaryArray diffusors as seen in professional recordingfacilities around the world. These sound scatteringdevices make the room seem larger by breakingup reflections.
A room layout guide is included with the package. The design, created by a professional acoustician, illustrates placement of materials in relation to thelistening position.
The acoustical foam comes in our standardcharcoal grey. The diffusors are white and maybe painted with a water based latex spray paint tomatch the room dcor.

APPLICATIONSonora Sound Shim wall panels are used for acoustical absorption ordirected reflection combined with strong design elements. This productis suitable for theaters and other critical listening environments.
CONSTRUCTIONThe core construction is a dimensionally stable 6-7 PCF glassfiberboard attached at an angle to an MDO plywood backer and ribs, covered face and edges with a layer of 16-20 PCF molded fiberglass forabsorption, or 1/16 unperforated copolymer face sheet for high frequencyreflection. Finishes are completely adhered to the face of the panel andreturned to the back for a full finished, fully tailored edge.
SIZE AVAILABILITY
Maximum size is 16 square feet, with a maximum length of 8, andminimum width of 2. Minimum depth is 1-1/2.
FINISHGuilford of Maine FR701 Style 2100 or factory approved finish
EDGE DETAILAll edges are square and covered with 1/8 molded fiberglass.
MOUNTINGStandard mounting is Z-Clip to Wall Bar. Wall Bar to Wall Bar or a
combination of Wall Bar on the top, and Velcro on the bottom is alsoavailable.
ACOUSTICAL PERFORMANCESonora Sound Shim Panels provide excellent acoustical performance for auditoriums, theaters,or anywhere sound absorption or directed reflection with low frequency absorption is required.
FIRE RATINGComponents, with the exception of the MDO plywood, have been tested according to ASTM E84 and have a flame spread of 25 or less.

Model FPD1
The Hiper Panel, Flat Panel Diffuser is a patented acoustical panel thatcombines absorption and diffusion into one sound panel. The device issimilar in style to a standard fabric covered acoustical wall panel andcan be intermixed with them.
Acoustical performance differs significantly from outward appearance.
Internally the panel substrates have a pattern of holesin two substrate layers, 180 degrees out-of-phasewith each other and separated by a thin membranecreating an equal distribution of absorptive andreflective regions both vertically and horizontally. There will also be additional cancellation at certainfrequencies due to wave interference from phaseshifting due to the time delay of passing through the
various combinations of substrate and membrane andreflecting back through the panel.

QUADRAPYRAMID DIFFUSER
The patented QuadraPyramid diffuser presents a low profile with four pyramidscreating sixteen angles of reflection on the surface of a single 2 X 2 panel.
CONSTRUCTION:
Size: 23.75 x 23.75 x 2.75 Mount: Direct mount (wall or ceiling)
or Drop into T-Bar Grid Material: Thermoplastic
Fire Rating: Class 1 (A)
The QuadraPyramid diffuser generates a uniform polarresponse over a broad frequency range. There is very littlesound absorption when used as a ceiling mounted device
in a standard grid. (NRC=0.10)When wall mounted in a specificmanner, it becomes a mid-bassabsorber in the range of 250 Hz(0.60 SAC) with the skirt of the bellcurve extending down to 125 Hz onthe low end and 315 Hz at its upperlimit. (NRC=0.20)

Cloudscape Baffles and Banners are designed to solve acoustical problems economically in anylarge cubic volume space such as arenas, gymnasiums, theaters, restaurants, and auditoriums.Reverberation times that range from 4 to 9 seconds can be reduced to 1/2 to 2 seconds. Speeintelligibility is greatly improved and sound intensity levels are reduced simultaneously by 3 to decibels.

VIBRATION CONTROL
VIB-X Pad absorbs vibration energy and thus prevents the
transmission of shock or vibration from one surface to another
surface. VIB-X Pad may be used to mount noisy machinery or to attach an
independent oating stud wall for room-within-a-room isolation. The cross-
ribbed construction acts as an efcient energy absorber, enabling large
horizontal forces to be generated without slippage or walking occurring.

Decouples machinery vibration from structure
Floats sound studio and theater walls
Easy to cut to size with common tools
Vibrating surfaces are often damped, by applying visco-elastic materials directlyto the surface converting the vibrational energy to heat. The flexing of the
damping material provides the energy dissipation and decay to reduce noise.Metal no longer rings when it is struck or excited by airborne noise.

Improve sound transmission loss, reduce impact noise and structuralnoise transmission in most ceiling and wall constructions. Resilient clipsare used to isolate using standard furring channels (hat track) whenmounting gypsum board, drywall, or sheetrock.Clips eliminate the need for RC-1 and other acoustical mats. Can improve STC up to 20 points.

StratiQuilt QUILTED FIBERGLASS
StratiQuilt rolls and panels combine noise barrierperformance with efficient sound absorption. This light-weight, semi-flexible, easy-to-handle material is a vinylcoated, grey colored fiberglass facing cloth, quilted to asupporting 2 lb./cu. ft. density fiberglass.
As a semi-flexible barrier enclosure, StratiQuilts absorptive properties help to control reverberanenergy inside an area. StratiQuilt does not accordion fold, therefore it should be considered as suspended barrier in areas requiring infrequent access.
CONSTRUCTION:
StratiQuilt Panels are quilted in a 4 diamond shape, and are fully bound on all edges so nofiberglass is exposed.Other configurations are available.
SQ122 - Facing on one side. Standard grommets are on the top 4 edge only. SQ124 - is constructed of two layers of SQ122 bound back-to-back.
SQ125 - is similar to SQ124with 1.0 lb./sq. ft. loaded vinyl barrier septum added.
All Stratiquilt panels have standard brass grommets 12 O.C. on top hangingside. In addition, SQ124 and SQ125 have double-grommet fastening system oedges. Nylon thread is used exclusively for all hems.
