weekend watch listNo. 3 Ohio State at MichiganSaturday, November 30, 12 p.m.
One of the biggest rivalries in college football takes place in Ann Arbor this weekend as Ohio State (11-0) takes on Michigan (7-4). While the series dates back to 1897, the two have faced each other every year since 1918 and Michigan holds a 58-44-6 lead, although the Buckeyes have won nine of the last 11 meetings.
No. 24 Duke at North CarolinaSaturday, November 30, 12 p.m.
The ACC Championship game is right in front of Duke’s (9-2) eyes as it travels to Chapel Hill to take on rival North Carolina (6-5) needing one last victory to be able to book its flight to Charlotte. Duke’s current seven-game winning streak is the longest since 1994 and its nine wins ties a school record for wins in a season.
No. 1 Alabama at No. 4 AuburnSaturday, November 30, 3:30 p.m.
The Iron Bowl stakes are higher than ever as Alabama (11-0) visits Auburn (10-1) with not only conference championship hopes on the line, but national title hopes as well. Alabama’s scoring defense is No. 1 in the country (9.3 ppg allowed) while Auburn is second in the nation in rushing yards per game (320.3).
No. 6 Clemson at No. 10 South CarolinaSaturday, November 30, 7 p.m.
Clemson (10-1) visits rival South Carolina (9-2) in a battle for in-state and conference bragging rights. The Gamecocks own a school record 17-game home winning streak, the longest home winning streak in the country, and will put it to the test against a Clemson team that has scored 50+ in its last three games.
No. 25 Notre Dame at No. 8 StanfordSaturday, November 30, 7 p.m.
Stanford (9-2) returns to The Farm for its regular-season finale as the Cardinal plays host to Notre Dame (8-3). The series dates back to 1925 when Notre Dame defeated Stanford to earn the Irish their first-ever national championship and have since faced each other 27 times. Notre Dame leads the rivalry 18-9.
No. 21 Texas A&M at No. 5 MissouriSaturday, November 30, 7:45 p.m.
Coming off a loss to LSU last week, Texas A&M (8-3) travels to Columbia to face Missouri (10-1). A win over the Aggies would give the Tigers the SEC East title and stamp their ticket to Atlanta for the SEC Championship to face the winner of Alabama/Auburn. Missouri is also trying to reach its first-ever BCS bowl game.
No. 22 UCLA at No. 23 USCSaturday, November 30, 8 p.m.
USC (9-3) hosts UCLA (8-3) for the 83rd renewal of the famous crosstown rivalry. UCLA has won just twice in the last 14 matchups against USC and Troy’s last loss to the Bruins in the Coliseum was in 1997. After defeating USC last season to claim the Pac-12 South title, a UCLA win would mark back-to-back wins against the Trojans for the first time since 1997 and 1998.
Arizona at No. 12 Arizona StateSaturday, November 30, 9:30 p.m.
While Arizona State (9-2) has already clinched a spot in the Pac-12 Championship Game, the Sun Devils need a victory over Arizona (7-4) in order to gain home field advantage in their tilt with Stanford next week. A win would also give them the outright title of the Pac-12 South for the first time since the conference expanded into North and South divisions three years ago.
