For over 40 years Acrovyn’s Pebblette texture was

the industry’s standard, but some owners found it

hard to clean, and some architects did not care for

its institutional appearance. When C/S decided

to create New Acrovyn we took everything

into account, including the texture.

In a survey among owners and architects,

an overwhelming majority preferred New

Acrovyn’s Shadowgrain texture over the

original Pebblette texture. The survey group

felt the texture would be much easier to

clean and maintain. They preferred its matte

non-institutional appearance and the color

consistency between the end cap and the

profile. Specify New Acrovyn and see

This is where you can have the most impact on the cost of your panel project. Simply put, the more different sizes and shapes your project calls for themore factory fabrication will be required, resulting in a higher cost.

Note: To achieve a “molding free” look on a tighterbudget, limit your panel sizes to a maximum of five.Cut panels only in corners and at terminations anduse moldings as necessary.

Cost factor: Consult one of our wall panel project managers at 800-233-8493 early in theprocess to help guide you to which Acrovyn wall panel system is right for you.

Acrovyn Beveled Edge wall panels can be installedpermanently with construction adhesive or on ademountable Z-Clip system. Each system can giveyou the same visual appearance. The demountableZ-Clip system allows you to remove or replace apanel without any repair work to the wall behind it (see details on page 73).

The demountable Z-Clip system works with all C/S panel systems except the Acrovyn Square EdgePanel (page 75). The demountable panel systemadds approximately 15% to a typical panel project.

All C/S panels except Renaissance Metal Panels canalso be installed permanently using constructionadhesive. Details showing permanent mount conditions are shown on page 74-75. Complete installation instructions for all C/S panel systemscan be found at www.c-sgroup.com.
