What helped motivate and structure our collaborations?
• Classes, with their formal structure and outcomes. We were motivated to do something in the name of benefiting students.
• Grant program, with its structure and deadlines--4th revenue stream options. Having a history of working together facilitates getting grants.
• Conferences/meetings format structures and schedules time for dialogue.

How can we facilitate dialogue
between writing teachers at different institutions?
What do people "get" from participating?
What kinds of activities motivate us to meet?

What ONE activity can we do this year?Invent, design, and start planning one activity this session’s participants could organize and/or participate in together in the next eight months that we could report on at next year’s AETA meeting.
