DICT, DIC, DIT = speak, declare• Prediction (n) - Something that foretells the future;

a prophecy; a declaration or telling in advance

• Dedicate (v) - To set apart for some purpose and esp. for something sacred or serious: devote; to address or inscribe as a compliment

• Contradictory (adj) - Inclined to declare or speak against; tending to state the opposite opinion

• Dictatorship (n) - A country or form of government where absolute power is exercised by an imperious ruler

VEN, VENT = come•Conventional (adj) - Conforming or

adhering to accepted custom, practice, belief or taste; without originality

•Venturesome (adj) - Having or showing a disposition to undertake something involving uncertainty or risk

•Prevention (n) - The act of stopping or keeping something from coming or happening

DUCT, DUC = lead.• Aqueduct (n) - Artificial channel for conducting

water over a distance from a remote site

• Productive (adj) - Capable of creating by mental or physical effort; fertile; yielding favorable results

• Deduce (v) - To trace the course or derivation of; to derive as a conclusion from something known or assumed

FIN - end•Finality (n) - Conclusiveness or

decisiveness; characterized by being settled or complete; something that is an ultimate act or belief

•Infinite (adj) - Unlimited; boundless; endless; immeasurably great

•Refinery (n) - An establishment for bringing something (as petroleum or sugar) to be free or be separate from impurities

place where one lives; characterized by private homes

• Obsession (n) - Domination of one's thoughts or feelings by a persistent idea, image or desire

• Supersede (v) - To replace in power, position, function, effectiveness or office; to supplant

•Inference (n)- A guess or, speculation

•Circumference (n) - Outer boundary, esp. of a circular area; perimeter

• Supernatural (adj) - Being above or beyond what is explainable by natural law; attributed to ghosts and goblins
