Under these conditions of soil and heavy rainfall, high soluble boron compounds must be supplied in large quantities than required, otherwise they are leached by heavy rains and boron cannot be maintained in soil. Under such conditions, less soluble boron compounds are used to provide a more uniform and continuous supply of boron throughout the growing season. TM ACTICOL TM ACTICOL TM ACTICOL – Mineral Calcium Borate TM TM ACTICOL is a slow release micronutrient boron. It is ideal for correcting boron deficiency in acidic soils. Major ingredients of ACTICOL TM is Calcium Borate (Ca2B6O11.5H2O). Therefore, use of ACTICOL in soil provides both Calcium and Boron to plants. TM Besides Calcium and Boron, ACTICOL naturally contains other useful & essential micronutrients such as Fe O & MgO, that are also 2 3 required by plants for growth and nutrition. Appearance and Composition TM TM ACTICOL is a homogenized powder in light to dark grey colour. The main ingredient of ACTICOL is Di-Calcium Hexaborate Pentahydrate and Dolomitic Limestone or Calcite. Application & Benefits TM ACTICOL is a slow release boron micronutrient that requires a longer period of time to dissolve in water. However it is ideal for regions TM that have acidic soils and/or subjected to heavy rainfalls. Application of ACTICOL provides a uniform Boron supply that results in higher yields. TM ACTICOL can be used directly by soil application or can be mixed with rock phosphate, NPK or other fertilizers.
