The Golden Mile Tooele and Grantsville seniors met at Skyline park in Tooele for the
spring Golden Mile activity. Three routes, “easy,” “moderate” and “difficult
provided different levels of walking to choose from. Seniors of all levels of
fitness enjoyed being out in the sun on this warm spring day. This activity
was held to help promote activity and exercise. Snacks and water were
provided along with prizes .Thanks to the many people and businesses
who helped make this event happen.

A Wrinkle in Time Tooele County Seniors donned their suits, glasses and sun screen and spent the day soaking in the warm thermal pools at Crys-tal Hot Springs. It was a great trip!
This is one of the activities we have put together in an ef-fort to provide ways for Tooele County Seniors to live hap-py and active life styles. We work hard to have activities to promote active living as we age.
There is mounting evidence that longevity and activity are tied together. There are a wide variety of community set-tings where today’s older Americans are able to enjoy re-newed purpose in their later years. An active senior life-style is easily within reach for those willing to seek it out.
We encourage the seniors of Tooele County to come out and join us at these activities. If you have an activity idea that you think might be fun please share it with us.
Sweetheart (Affinity) Scam
Millions of Americans use dating sites, social networking sites, and chat rooms to meet people. And many forge suc-cessful relationships. But scammers also use these sites to meet potential victims. They create fake profiles to build online relationships, and eventually convince people to send money in the name of love. Some even make wedding plans before disappearing with the money. An online love interest who asks for money is almost certainly a scam artist.
