NATURALLY AT THE HEART OF BOTANICAL RESEARCH

Created in 1992, Greentech has established itselftoday as the specialist in plant extraction, inresearch and development of performing andinnovative actives for the cosmetic and nutra-ceutical industries.

With a rich database representing morethan 30,000 plants and 300,00 bioactivemolecules, Greentech commercializesactives and extracts (both liquid anddry) derived from extraction technicsmost adapted to the conservation ofthe quality and properties of plantsand their biologic activities.

To this end, a new research center, basedin Meze, France on the Mediterranean hasbeen emerged.

SHARING ITS KNOWLEDGE

At Greentech, it is more than 15% of its gross income which is re-invested inresearch and development to stay at the forefront of innovation, and to perfectits knowledge of the plant world.Greentech has been able to develop a bio infor-matic technology capable of virtual screening of actives derived from botanicalsources.

Among these, Cryoextraction (patented techno-logy) allows with the cryogenic treatment of fresh plants, to ensureyear round production while maintaining the organoleptic proper-ties and the quality of the active principles in fresh plants.

CONSTANT CONTROLSThe control of quality begins with the reception of the plant, to theshipment of the active or extract, with a guarantee of perfect stabi-lity of the active principles.The rigorous analysis of the plant, of theextracts and its actives is a constant. Biochemical tests for activity invitro and in vivo are conducted on all our actives with a pharma-ceutical resolution.

THE ORGANIC LABELA portion of production is conducted in a

framework controlled byEcocert.

Greentech can therefore commercializes plant extracts and activesunder the label Bio/Organic. Obtained from organic farms with a respect for the environment, extracted with solvent free processes andwithout any synthetic preservatives, these extracts and actives respondto the latest expectations of the cosmetic industry and its customers.

At its creation, Greentech was already active in the preservationof rare or threatened species by developing in vitro cultures andever since, Greentech remains engaged in the preservation of theworld plant resources. In 14 years, Greentech has been involvedin collaborations with more than 20 countries, from the equator

to the poles. Greentech has esta-blished with producers in these coun-tries, a policy of equitable commerce for the purpose of longterm development. Hence, Greentech is rooted in an initiativeaimed at the protection of the planet and its populations.

In its immediate environment, Greentech participates in the pre-servation of the environment by contributing to the re-popula-tion of the mountainous habitat of the volcanic region inAuvergne through the culture of endemic species. In Peru, as inBurkina Faso, or in the Vanuata Islands, Greentech participates

along with the association “ jardin en herbes ”on the project of creating botanical gardens

in Auvergne and Burkina Faso.
