THE COLUMBIA COLLOQUIUM AND LABORATORY SEMINARS

At intervals of approximately one month during the academic year, a regular colloquium hasbeen held to discuss ongoing research. Dr. Tej Pandita organized them and scheduled thespeakers. These have been attended by the professional staff, graduate students, and seniortechnical staff of this Laboratory and RARAF, as well as scientists from other departments ofthe College of Physicians & Surgeons interested in collaborative research. Attention hasfocused on recent findings and future plans, with special emphasis on the inter-disciplinarynature of our research effort.

During the year, we have been pleased to welcome a number of visitors who have presentedformal seminars and/or spent time discussing ongoing research with various members of theLaboratory. These have included Drs. Masao S. Sasaki, Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan,William Morgan, University of California, SF, CA, Robert Ullrich, University of Texas atGalveston, Texas, Don Chapman, Fox Chase Cancer Center, PA, Gayle Woloschak, ArgonneNational Laboratory, Argonne, IL, Vilhelm A. Bohr, National Institute of Health, MD, SurajBhat, UCLA School of Medicine, Los Angeles, CA, Andrew J.
