2015 was a year of consolidation for the CTecno. Intentionally, we have managed to optimize
resources while at the same time, we have intensified our services, encouraging new forms of
events that have marked the technological agenda of the ICT sector in Catalonia, as the cycle of
lunch-discussion Techno-Lunch for one hand, and holding the first Conference CTecno 2020, on
the other hand.
With a focus placed on the digitization and growth of the economy at the service of people, the
CTecno has also continued its integrationist, facilitator of reflection and generating knowledge.
This year, we have further strengthened our position as a key player in the ICT in our home galaxy.
In this sense, we have substantiated agreements with leading institutions such as the Mobile
World Capital Barcelona, the Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona Foundation or the Banc
Sabadell.
In short, the Foundation closed the year 2015 with good taste and with optimism for 2016.

The Barometer of the Technological Sector in Catalonia is a qualitative and quantitative analysis of
the situation in the information and communications technology sectors in Catalonia. In each
issue, the barometer has been growing regarding the prospective analysis of industry trends and
recommendations and the proposed roadmap for the Catalan technological actors.
The Barometer 2015 is based on over 800 surveys. In addition, 21 opinion leaders interviews and
three Focus Groups have been made. More than 20 experts and professionals have participated to
discuss internationalization and competitiveness, trends and R + D + i, and digital transformation
Currently, the Barometer promoted by the Cercle Tecnològic de Catalunya arrives at the seventh
edition and it is consolidated as an essential reference document in different areas of the Catalan
ICT sector. Discover the latest data on the professional talent, the ability to internationalize and
optimism in assessing the sector.

The CTecno promoted the celebration of the first Congress CTecno 2020 with the
objective of coordinating the technology sector and to involve in cross debate on
innovation. With the digital transformation of the business as the main focus, the event
brought together over 170 professionals from the ICT sector and other sectors and tried
four major tracks:
1. Cross innovation
2. The new role of the CIO
3. Digital Conversion Offer
4. Closure of CITCAT2020 / sectoral Transformation

The CTecno boosted during 2014 and until June 2015, the Cycle of Technological Innovation in Catalonia 2020
(CITCAT2020), a project that grew with the purpose of enriching the future agenda and promote technological innovation
in Catalonia in line with the catalan smart specialization strategy , RIS3CAT .
Throughout the project, with the collaboration of the Generalitat de Catalunya and Barcelona and the Ajuntament de
Barcelona, the CITCAT2020 set up 11 sectoral working groups that discussed the status and trends of innovation. In
addition, three regional conferences were held in Tarragona , Lleida and Girona.
The initiative held its closing on June 4, 2015 , with a public presentation in the context of the conference CTecno 2020 .

During the ceremony, the audience enjoyed the presentation by Mr. Artur Serra , deputy and head of the Foundation
i2CAT international manager . Mr. Josep M. Marques, director de Promoció Econòmica de l’Ajuntament de Barcelona,
highlighted the strong ideas of the study, promoted by CTecno sponsored by the Ajuntament de Barcelona.
The Director General de Telecomunicacions I Societat de la Informació, Mr. Jordi Puigneró closed the ceremony .
After the presentation, CTecno summer dinner was held with the members of the Foundation.

CYCLE TECHNO-LUNCH
The Techno -Lunch is a format event organized and promoted by the CTecno in collaboration with schools and
professional groups of computer, telecommunications and industrial. Through the presentation and dialogue
with relevant stakeholders fully in the field of ICT, the event encourages open discussion, knowledge
generation and networking. During 2015, the Techno-Lunch was sponsored cycle and collaboration of Banc
Sabadell and attracted over 200 attendees.

On the occasion of the Catalan elections of September 27 , 2015, the CTecno organized a sectoral debate with
representatives of all political parties represented in the Parliament. The event, held in the Imagina - Mediapro
Auditorium, was moderated by Mar Galtés, a La Vanguardia journalist specialized in new technologies.
