Focus: To make a Gingerbread Man. The children had listened to the story about The Gingerbread Man and were making Gingerbread Man biscuits with the nursery nurse. Recipe and instruction cards. Ingredients. Utensils, Cooker. Children mix dry ingredients naming them. Observe how liquid changes the mixture into dough. Flatten dough and roll out. Cut out biscuits, decorate and bake. Children eat biscuits. Know that squashing and rolling-out changes the shape of dough. Know that dry ingredients will mix together. Know that dry ingredients will stick together when mixed with liquid.
