One of the most jarring, practical demonstrations of the ramifications of this doctrine is connected with the Lord’s Supper
1 Cor. 11:26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.
When we partake of the Lord’s Supper, we proclaim “the Lord’s death till He come.”
But, on the basis that the Lord has already come (in A.D. 70), some brethren have ceased observing the Lord’s Supper.
