Just as Jesus' birth was revealedrevealed to the chosen,So was His resurrectionresurrection.

41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosenchosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with Him after He rose from the dead.

John 20 19-20 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. 45-46 And they of the circumcision (Jews) which believed (Christians) were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God.

I wonder if these brethren went with Peter justjust out of curiositycuriosity, because he was going to GentilesGentiles.

They certainly didn't expectdidn't expect to see Gentiles become Christians and be filled with the Holy Holy

SpiritSpirit.

They were notnot God's chosen; howhow could they receivereceive these blessings from God!

46b-48 Then answered Peter, Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we? And he commanded them to be baptized in the Name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

Of what God has done in us:Dead to sin

Alive to righteousness.
