Jesus had to go before the Spirit could come into the world in this special way. Imagine an empty swimming pool with

12 men standing in the deep end and suddenly a cascade of water, like a

waterfall pours into the pool and the apostles are standing under the cascade

The Holy Spirit being POURED out on the Apostles –called the

“BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT”

to every Christian.

When you are obedient to Christ it is like jumping in the swimming pool to receive the HOLY SPIRIT who was poured out

on the Apostles.The Holy Spirit does NOT need to be POURED OUT again and again
