I am praying for God’s guidance upon them and continual provision for their needs. Our Sunday School theme for this month is “Longing for Wisdom.” James 3:17 says, “But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.” It is very vital for every child of God to choose heavenly wisdom that produces godly character in facing everyday life’s situation. Longing for His Wisdom - Prayer1 Timothy 2:1-9
I. God’s people must develop their prayer life by supplication for it is bending to God’s unlimited power.A. Supplication has reached our ranks when we have fully comprehended our intense need.B. Coupled with such intense need is our intense faith in God’s power.
II. God’s people must develop their prayer life by supplication for it is binding to God’s unmatched will and design.A. Supplication is strange to those who remain adamant to God’s will.B. Supplication is realized when we have learned to love the place where God loves to go and have pleasure in it.
III. God’s people must develop their prayer life by supplication for it is bonding to God’s unbeatable ministry that He gave us.A. Supplication is intertwined with our duties and responsibilities as God’s children.B. Supplication of God’s people will be granted by heaven’s manifold blessings.
