What Are The Uses Of Rocks?
Rocks are one of the most used minerals in the world people use them to build houses, statues and much more. In fact half the stuff around you is probably rocks. To see

What Are The Types Of Rocks?
There are more than one type of rock. Here is a list of some non really precious rocks and what they're used for:
1.GalenaUsed for making lead acid batteries, lead sheets and shot. 2. JasperUsed for jewelry and very warm and protective gear even if it comes in different colors. 3.MarcasiteUsed for HIGH FASHION JEWELRY 4.GypsumUsed for fertilizer, plaster and blackboard chalk 5.DolomiteUsed to describe sedimentary carbonate rock. That is just some of lots of other rocks.
How Rocks Are Made A igneous rock is being made by starting in the magma chamber and makes its way up to a volcano then cools down and turns to rock along with the volcano it self. Now for Sedimentary rock.Sedimentary is layers of rock all in one. The way it’s made is when rocks fall in a river/ocean and collide into each other and start to make layers of rock and after years and years sedimentary rock is made. Now for metamorphic rock.It is made by pressure and heat infact almost all rocks can be turned to metamorphic rock. Those are just the main three types of rock but there are loads of more rocks in the world. To see more click link above

5. orthoclase feldspar
what rock are used for
some rocks are used for landscape like lime stone
And some rocks are used for building like stone chimneys
rocks can be put in metal bags to stop banks from caving in.To see more click link above

Why Are Dinosaurs So Important To Scientists? By: The Three Science Musketeers

What Were Dinosaurs?
Dinosaurs were lizards that evolved as far back as 230 mya . They lived in
continents all over the world. They evolved from small little ancient creatures almost as small as a chameleon, which are very small lizards and they turned more than quadruple their own size and into dinos. The oldest known chameleon is the Minosaurus, from the Upper Cretaceous (during the dinosaur times) of Mongolia. Also the chameleon is 3545 cm long so if you times that by a hundred you might get the height of a dinosaur. By Incase if you didn't know, that's what the dinosaurs were, before they went extinct. Here is a better explaining what dinosaurs were in the past and how the circle of life began: 1

What Are They Good For
The dinosaurs are the most important thing to scientists. One reason is that without them, we would not have any natural gas (How Natural Gas Is Made). Here is a website to see where natural gas comes from before the dinosaurs. http://www.ngridenergyworld.com/elec_ngas_safety/ngas_safetysmart/66721_natural_gas_science/dinosaurs.html.
Another excellent reason is, their bones and how old they are inspire us to find out more and get more detenmand about our planet's history, which the science community loves to talk about. Also, dinosaurs help us learn from our earth's past. We can learn about how they lived to “? survive, the weather and how they fought other animals for food (etc). Traced fossils are useful for paleontologists because they tell about the activity of ancient organisms. For example, the study of dinosaur footprints has contributed significantly to our understanding of dinosaur behavior. Dinosaurs give tons of information of their lifestyle back then. Why are dinosaurs so important
Dinosaurs are so important, their important because of the many gifts they have given as, such as some natural gas, fossils to stare at for hours on end because they are so fascinating and so
much more. Dinosaurs are important both for the understanding the causes of past major extinctions of land animals and for understanding the changes in biological diversity caused by previous geological and climatic changes of the Earth. Another thing they are useful for is they provide a good amount of natural gas. Without natural gas we wouldn't have fuel to run our cars and many other important things that relies on the air. And without dinosaurs we wouldn’t have many fossils and history facts about our planet Earth. And animals to protect our precious earth.
Life And Death Of The Dinosaurs
The life and death about the dinosaurs. The dinosaurs died in the cretaceous period,
Called the mass extinction. 65 million years ago, The dinosaurs died of extinction, you are probably wondering “What is extinction and how did this happen?” Well, I am here to tell you.
The best definition of extinction is; when a whole species dies out of existence and never
comes back. And how did this happen? Well here it is: An asteroid crashed into the mexican peninsula, but that's not all, some dinosaurs didn't die just from the asteroid. After that, giant dense clouds of dust blocked the sun's rays which made it very cold. This made the plants and dinosaurs( including herbivores.) die from the extreme cold and from starvation. Here is a link for a video better explaining the extinction. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8Ij9xboreA
Conclusion
We have formed as a group to do this project. As we were learning about these cool facts, we realized how important dinos were. They provided natural gas, helped us learn our Earth's history, and how the dinosaurs lived. It is important we know because we are naturally curious. Those are the reasons that dinosaurs are so important to scientists. One last little reason is the dinosaurs amazed us so much, it motivated us to find more about our Earth's
history. Thanks for reading, from The Three Science Musketeers. :)
