Access control• New users can request access at a
push of a button.
User permissions• By default, approved users are granted
standard user permissions.• In addition, the administrator role has
permissions to view the activatedsolutions, deactivate the solutions andremove the accounts assigned to theactivated solutions.
• User access and permissions arecontrolled by the administrators.

Cloud provider setup• Cloud accounts are used to connect to the external
cloud providers through user’s individual CALaccount.
• At least one cloud provider account has to becreated, which is charged for using the cloudprovider’s infrastructure for running SAP solutions.
Access rights and permissions• Account owners create and configure accounts of
SAP Cloud Appliance Library to manage access toSAP solutions and solution instances.
• Account owners have the ability to grant certainusers permissions for using these solutions andsolution instances.

Regions• Several regions can be activated for a
certain account (regional settings maydiffer depending on the cloud provider).
• A region designates a set of cloudprovider resources in the samegeographical area.
Cost forecast• Cost forecasting can be enabled for a
certain region.• Cloud provider prices are filled
automatically, but can be adjusted in caseof customer specific prices.
