Who would you like to nominate for the changemaker award?

You should ensure that the person you have nominated is aware that you are providing information about them and their work to Global Action Plan, which will be publicised if they are shortlisted, and that they are happy for us to get in contact with them.

Schools - School changemaker of the yearWe’re looking for a student, teacher, school leader or education practitioner of any kind that has demonstrated action “above and beyond” the norm to make sustainable ways of “being” and “doing” school a reality.

Local authorities and public services - changemaker of the yearWe’re looking for an individual public service practitioner of any kind or at any level who has demonstrated impact action “above and beyond” the norm to move towards sustainability.

Community and voluntary sector - individual changemaker of the yearWe’re looking for an individual who has demonstrated impact within a particular community of place, interest or need, in making sustainable ways of life a reality.

Schools - London Sustainable School of the YearWe’re looking for a school that has shown ambition in taking action to become a sustainable school. A school that has combined different approaches, for example:- making ambitious commitments to become a zero carbon school- empowering students to set up eco networks- integrating environmental education in their curriculum.

Local authorities and public services – Trailblazing organisation of the yearWe are looking for nominations of groups or organisations that have demonstrated resilience, imagination and ambition in order to deliver measurable impacts for Londoners, as well as London’s/the global environment.

categories – 1) schools 2) public sector and local authorities and 3) community and voluntary sectors

3. The nomination deadline is 10th February 2021. Winners will be celebrated at an online awards ceremony and learning event in Spring 2021.
